ChatGPT Go plan is now available in the US as part of global roll out

To catch you up, the ChatGPT Go plan was first introduced in India in August 2025. But it’snow available everywhere ChatGPT is available, including the U.S. You’ll have to pay $8 per month for ChatGPT Go in the U.S. The company says the global launch follows strong early adoption across more than 170 countries.

As OpenAI noted, ChatGPT Go is being used for everyday tasks such as writing, studying, image generation, and general problem-solving. The company further says that that trend helped shape the decision to make the plan globally available.

With the global expansion, ChatGPT now offers three consumer subscription tiers globally. ChatGPT Go sits at the entry level at $8 per month, followed by ChatGPT Plus at $20 per month, and ChatGPT Pro at $200 per month. It’s worth noting that pricing of ChatGPT Go will vary across regions, with the U.S. price being used as the reference point.
