At a press conference on Monday, Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus said that the bust was conducted on Wednesday in the capital city, where a 29-year-old man was arrested.
“Checks in his two vehicles and two residences led to the discovery of several drug packing and processing equipment alongside other drug seizures worth around 832,350 ringgit,” he said.
“He has been remanded for seven days until January 14, for further investigations.”
Fadil added that the dealer would use houses and flats as processing and storage areas and that he had been active in the illicit trade for around three months.
“He tested negative for drugs and has no prior police records,” he said.
